Living in Los Angeles, sometimes we end up having some really great opportunities. You remember the band Sugar Ray? Some of their hits include "Every Morning", "Fly", "Someday", and more. Plus, the band's singer, Mark McGrath, has done all kinds of TV work, including co-hosting the show "Extra".
One random day, we heard from a family friend that the band was going to be playing at a free, summer festival at her kids' school. "Come watch the concert and have some fun!" she said... and that we did.
I had forgotten just how many hits Sugar Ray had, and plenty of people dancing in the crowd still remembered all the lyrics. The show was awesome, and watching this band play at a school festival/fundraiser definitely felt like an "only in L.A." moment. I hope you enjoy these never-before-posted photos I captured that night!
